Company to Discuss 40-Year History of Differentiation in Test and
Measurement
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
National Instruments (Nasdaq: NATI) will host its annual investor
conference in Austin, Texas, in conjunction with NIWeek, the company's
annual user conference. A key event for launching new products, NIWeek
brings together more than 3,000 customers and partners to learn how the
expansion of NI's core platform capabilities is helping to solve the
world's toughest engineering challenges.
The investor conference will begin with a keynote address by Dr. James
Truchard, NI president, CEO and co-founder. It will highlight the
company's 40-year history of connecting analog measurements to
processing, which offers a unique opportunity to support engineers and
scientists with a software defined platform that scales with the
iterative design process of this converged world.
Additional speakers include Shelley Gretlein, vice president of
Corporate Marketing, who will share the strengths of NI software as
LabVIEW celebrates more than 30 years of transforming how engineers take
measurements, and preview of future software capabilities; Charles
Schroeder, vice president of Wireless and Communications, who will focus
on smarter test systems and the company's unique, customizable approach
to test; and Chad Chesney, vice president of Data Acquisition and
Embedded, who will discuss the company's platform-based approach to the
design and test of electro-mechanical systems. John Graff, vice
president of Marketing, will moderate a customer panel of company
representatives from Bristol, Flowserve and Intel. Alex Davern, COO and
CFO, will conclude the day by discussing NI's long-term business model.
"Over the last 40 years, we have leveraged the most powerful trends in
technology to bring new capabilities to test and measurement and provide
our customers with solutions to their toughest challenges," Truchard
said. "In the 30 years since the introduction of LabVIEW, we have
transformed how engineers take measurements. From lab automation of a
single instrument, to grid monitoring systems spanning half the globe,
to solutions for cutting-edge technology like 5G communications, LabVIEW
has scaled and evolved."
The event begins today at 10:30 a.m. CT. To listen to the live webcast,
